About By The Bottle

What we do

We are a specialty retail store, commonly referred to as a bottle shop, that offers single-serve bottles and cans of local, regional, and imported beer, sold to go, for beer lovers on the move! By the Bottle has been three times voted Best Beer Store in Washington (Northwest Brewing News 07, 08, 09) and Best Beer Selection in Clark County, WA (The Columbian 2009, 2010).

Point of difference

This is what makes a business unique. It’s what would make someone drive a little further for their beer, when there is a more convenient store closer to home. There’s two main reasons for making a trip to By the Bottle: you will find beers that are simply not available anywhere else, and the interaction we have with you, if you want it, is personal, educational, and fun. We’ll get to know your taste buds and recommend other styles and brands that will keep your beer journey an exciting, sometimes exotic, trip around the world. Now what convenience store gives you that?

Let’s face it, you won’t be able to get gas, or bread, milk, and eggs at By the Bottle, like that convenient little store down the street from your house, but you will get a beer buying experience that will have you coming back for more…

About Saraveza

Cold beer, hot pasties & lots of homemade pickles.  Saraveza is a place to celebrate beer, hang out, eat well and enjoy friends and strangers alike. We’re a North Portland watering hole and craft beer convenience store with over 200 bottles and 10 rotating taps. We adore good food and make our pasties and tavern treats w/ fresh, local ingredients and love. We root for the Packers (view ‘11/‘12 schedule), Blazers and Brewers. –source, Saraveza’s website

Cheers
