Brewery News: OR: Full Sail Brewing among “10 Best Craft Beer Vacation Destinations”

Full Sail Brewery, Hood River, Ore.
It's really tough to go wrong with a brewery tour in Oregon. A beer lover could spend a whole vacation taking a tour of the state's largest beer maker,
Deschutes Brewery, and tasting its Inversion IPA at the brewpub in Bend; visiting Deschutes' Portland-based brewpub after checking out the facilities at theCraft Brewers Alliance's(HOOK_) Widmer Brewing, nearby BridgePort Brewing or theMacTarnahan's Taproom; or knocking back some Dead Guy Ale at any of the Rogue Ales Brewery"meeting rooms."

What does this mean? The answer is simple. Full Sail & Hood River have been found by The Street magazine to be one of the best places to have a beer. Although we have been to Hood River many times, it never occurred to us that maybe Hood River is a destination for those who want to enjoy a pint of Pale while watching the wind surfers go by.

Keep in mind there are many so-called Top 10 lists out there. Personally we think that Hood River is an excellent choice. But we might have considered Leavenworth (WA), Walla Walla (WA), Pacific City (OR), or maybe even Astoria (OR) as well.

Curious who else made the list? Read the full story here.

Congrats to Full Sail Brewing and Hood River.
