If you are reading this right now it might be a great time to head down to a nearby Elysian Brewery, for a taste of this year’s Golden Boot Ale. Inspired by the city’s love of the Sounders and European Rules Football this beer came out two year’s ago.
“This year's Boot is a reprise of the beer we did a couple of years ago for the inaugural season of the MLS Sounders.” –source, co-Owner / Brewer Operations Head Dick Cantwell
This beer would have been released sooner, had it not been for the unexpected success of the breweries Men’s Room Red. But it’s not all bad. Since without successes like Mens Room the brewery wouldn’t be able to expand into their recently purchased 35K square foot space in the Georgetown neighborhood.
