Seattle, WA – Ok, admittedly this notice is late, but still who doesn’t need an excuse to get out of the house on a Saturday night. Since 1997 Pyramid Ales’ Snow Cap has been annual Winter Ale enjoyed by many throughout the Northwest. And during those same years, visions of diamond level trails, switchbacks, and fresh powder, seem to seem into the consciousness of those who consume from its dark glass.
This Saturday while the Mariner nation mourns the loss of another season to Seahawks and Sounders football, Pyramid will be hosting a release party of monumental proportion. Cliches aside, this year's release party has gone private with a ticket only admission. Cost of this 21 and over event, $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
But, your money doesn’t go straight into the brewery and alehouses’ pockets, as your ticket helps support the Snowrider Project, which helps bring awareness to the environment. Through its organization, people learn how much such recreations as skiing, snowboarding, and surfing, benefit from water conservation.
Plus, as a way to sweeten the deal and give everyone a chance to walk out with a smile on their face, the brewery will be giving away over $11,000 in prizes (through raffle tickets) with funds going directly to the Snowrider Project. Prizes include (but aren’t limited to) …
- custom Pyramid K2 snowboards
- Outdoor Research Stormbound jacket
- Sturtevant pinstripe goggles and helmets
- SnoCon duffle bags
- a 2010-2011 season pass to Stevens,
- 5-day lift ticket packages to Bachelor,
- Pyramid Gift Shop swag, and a whole lot more
So put down the 10th of this month to get out and not only enjoy an annual tradition, now in its 13th year, while day dreaming of snowy mountaintops.
