For us we can’t get enough of the Northwest Pale Ales and India Pale Ales, and now we have another beer to add to our list of ‘must have’. Say hello to batch number seven (aka, the Final version) of Georgetown’s Lucille India Pale Ale.
For the gang at Georgetown, this beer was a real chore, given how many iterations of the recipe they go through. What most people do not know is that they don’t just taste the new beers, but occasionally their regular line up. So it should come as no shock that it took this many iterations before they came to their conclusive representation.
Beer Geek Information
“Columbus, Centennial, Amarillo and Cascade hops. Floral, citrusy and awesome. Anything so innocent and built like that just gotta be named Lucille. ABV 6.8%”
If you want to try this you will have several chances at this is their next year round beer. Look for it to start showing up at your favorite pub or restaurant soon. And as always, if you don’t find it on draft somewhere, ask your server or bartender to get you some!
We're Roger Bialous and Manny Chao... a couple of beer loving local boys who brewed up a pretty darn tasty beer in the garage (actually it was the back deck, but garage sounds better). We decided to chuck our jobs... all for beer. Yee-haw.
In all seriousness, we're living out our dreams. We love beer. We love brewing. Here we are. Life's too short not to follow your beer, er... I mean passions. The Zen philosopher Basho once wrote, " a flute without holes is not a flute and a donut with no holes is a danish."
