“It’s been quite a year for us” said Joel VandenBrink, Founder and Brewmaster of Two Beers Brewing Co. “We have made many friends along the way thus far and want to have a party to thank everyone for the continued support.”
Hard to believe that it's been over a year since the brewery, we first discovered at Naked City's opening night, is celebrating a year of beer. With this year under his belt, you can be assured that Joel isn't going to rest until every bar has carried a pint of Two Beers at one time or another.
Join Joel and the rest of the staff at 4700 Ohio Avenue South from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM PST. Current draft list looks like the only keg left of Winter Hop (2009), three varieties (Orange, Grapefruit, and Lemon peeled) Belgian Wit, Summer Hop, and a few other of your favorites. As an added bonus, look for cask varieties of the above beers, featured throughout the afternoon.
"Throughout the day all of our beers will be on tap: 20:20 Blonde, Crooked Belgian Wit, Immersion Amber, Persnickety Pale, Echo IPA, Evo. IPA, Sodo Brown, and Summer Hop."
Plus for those with an appetite for something other than a liquid diet, Zoe's Meats will be provided as well as live music on the dock up front.
Don't forget, this is an all ages celebration so bring you kids or dogs.
Congratulations Joel & Two Beers

Two Beers’ First Year Celebration
4700 Ohio Avenue South Seattle, WA 98134-2359 (206) 762-0490
take some time. look at the world. gain a new perspective.
We are connected to the Earth. We are connected to each other. Beer is social glue and the local economy matters.
Is that a reason to make amazing beer? We are at Two Beers Brewing Company think so. You see, beer is one of the original beverages that was created thousands of years ago. Long before soda and even lemonade. Beer is made from all naturally grown ingredients and always has been. No artificial sweeteners, no substitutes, nothing that is a product of 21st century invention. Making amazing beer is a beautiful way to remind us that we are connected to the earth.
Drinking amazing beer certainly isn’t fun by ourselves either. It is much more fun to invite some friends over, or go to a pub, and enjoy a beer in community. This also causes us to slow down just enough to remind us that we are connected to each other and that we do really enjoy hanging out with our friends. And although our life may still feel slightly out of whack we are momentarily comforted by the fact that there are people around us.
So take some time. Look at the world. And surely you will gain a new perspective.
