Portland, OR - On August 12th, while many of you are getting ready for another weekend, Deschutes Brewery's Portland Public House will be hosting an event. Starting at five (5PM) and running through nine (9PM), you are invited to the Street Fare. Featuring some eight vendors and several independent acts this is one way to blow of some steam, all for $5.
Proceeds from your $5 entry (includes the first food and beer taster, and additional taster tickets are only $4) go to the Morrison Child & Family Services.
To sweeten the deal, the brewery has purchased the rights to hold the fare in the street in front of the brewery. Paired with Deschutes beers, the vendors will have their work cut out for them as they demonstrate what makes each cart worth savoring. For more information we have attached the street carts and the musical entertainment below.

Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Deschutes Brewery is in the business of daring people to expect more from their beer. That's why we started off in 1988, on the banks of the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon, by selling Black Butte Porter at a time when others were sure a dark beer would never catch on. Our brewers love to push the envelope, especially if it makes someone nervous. But for us, the highest praise is a raised glass and a toast of "Bravely Done!"
