Seattle, WA - Word has traveled out that one of the more respected 'gastropubs' in the city will be hosting another in their series of annual festivals. "Sour Thang", as owner and proprietor Seth Howard has dubbed it, is a celebration of sour beers. With elements of vinegar, cherry, oak, brown sugar, and others, this will not be a festival to avoid.
The whole thing kicks off on Saturday July 10th and runs thru Monday July 12th, or until the beer runs out. For those not inclined we went ahead and posted the preliminary list below.
- Russian River Consecration
- Cascade Summer Gose
- Elliott Bay Barrel Aged Sour
- Bockor Cuvee Jacobin's Flanders Red
- plus more secret stuff!"

About Collins Pub
After twenty years in the food business, Seth Howard fulfilled a dream and opened the Collins Pub on the edge of Pioneer Square.
Collins Pub is located on 2nd Avenue on the same block as the Smith Tower (between James and Yesler). Seth has cultivated his passionate dream for over a decade: to open a terrific pub with the best PNW crafted beers and local wines. He also dreamed of a pub with superb food, a place for business lunches, after work cocktails and dinner, a place to tune up before Seahawk or Mariner games, gallery walk or boutique cruising. Seth wants it to be a fun place to kick back and enjoy (music, 2 big TV's), a place he and his peers can bring their kids (until 9pm), and comfortable neighborhood joint for all to relax and unwind.[more]
