Portland, OR – Located just outside downtown PDX, the Concordia Ale House on Killngsworth, has remained anonymous to those ignorant and for those who are inclined to great beer, it's a destination. If Seattle has places like The Dray, or Uber, then Concordia is one of the Rose City’s.
Featured at the event was breweries from all over Washington featuring mostly India Pale Ales and an accent courtesy of Baron Uberweiss and Mac-n-Jack’s Amber. Starting on the first week of June (2nd through the 6th) each brewery chose a beer they felt represented them. In the end the winner not only get’s bragging rights amongst his fellow state brewers but becomes the defacto Team Captain for Beer Brawl (number 4, coming February 2011).
It doesn’t stop with Washington and their results though as Oregon still has to select their captain this July (28th thru August 1st) during Concordia Cup 2010. Look for 12 Imperial IPAs to be featured by Oregon brewers and may the best brewery win.
For those who came for the results, we have posted the results below.
