imageWoodinville, WA – Taken out of circulation last year (2009) and with many people scratching their heads, Redhook’s Blond Ale is back. Already it’s been spotted on the shelves on draft throughout the area, but the brewery decided to finally come clean regarding if this beer was fresh or not.

With a newly designed label to remind people of one of Redhook’s year-round beers that has remained the same both in flavor and appeal.

“Redhook Blonde is a smooth, flavorful beer,” said Greg Deuhs, Redhook brewmaster. “It has a soft malt character and medium hop profile, making it a very good session beer. Redhook Blonde is a perfect beer to have while spending an afternoon outdoors at a picnic or on a rainy day at the pub for happy hour.”

Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Additionally, lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat give Redhook Blonde a flavor profile anticipated to appeal to a wide range of beer drinkers. –source, Redhook Ale Brewery

Additionally the brewery would like to remind those that with the warmer temperatures and the longer days, you might consider drinking their blonde with a meal. Try pairing the beer with “medium flavored foods like fish, nachos, or a salad.
