(WA) Coming Soon … Airways Brewing CDA & Triple Chocolate Stout

image of Airways Brewing Company's keg label courtsy of our Flickr page Kent, WA – We had a chance to catch up with Airways Brewing and their current progress since their official opening. It seems that Alex and Jameson are still testing new beers and this time around they have two that should be out soon.

Cascadian Dark Ale, is Airways’ spin on the familiar India Black Ale (sometimes called Black IPA). With a tentative release of April 15th (yeah, Tax Day), the beer made with Columbus and Amarillo Hops and British Ale yeast should hit the spot at 7.2% ABV. CDA, definitely is a beer that should drown out the memories of paying your annual taxes.

Triple-Chocolate Stout, is the latest in a series of stouts that Alex has been playing around with. This beer starts with their regular stout which is then aged with cocoa nips, vanilla, and then dry hopped in kegs with pure chocolate extract. This sessionable beer weighs in at 5.00%, and will serve it well, when its offered up at both Hops and Props as well as the WABL Bus Tour. Look for this beer April 28th at the brewery if you cannot make either of the above mentioned events.

Cheers
