image of Foggy Noggin owner and brewer Jim Jamison courtesy of our Flickr page Redmond, WA – Ever since we reported on them back in January we have been looking forward to the day when we would mouth the above headline. Friday April 2nd, Malt & Vine will be the first in the area to not only feature owner Jim Jamison’s Foggy Noggin draft beer, but also a bonafide tasting / evening.

Join Jim Jamison as well as a few others as Malt & Vine formally welcomes Foggy Noggin to the fold. Look for tastes and pints of Bit O’Beaver English Bitter and Christmas Duck Porter. And to sweeten the deal even more, Foggy Noggin will be featuring Bit O’Beaver and Christmas Duck in logo’d growlers as well. The whole thing gets started at 5:30 PM and runs through 7:30 PM.

About Jim Jamison

Who is the mastermind behind all of this Foggy Noggin hoopla? Local long-time Bothell resident, Jim Jamison can take the credit. What started out as a gift from Jim's wife (Kim) in 1992, he became hooked on taking brewing beer to the highest level.

Jim's love for beer began at Produce Row Cafe in Portland, OR during the summer of 1979. This was the place for beer. Every beer available for import into the State of Oregon was here. Jim tried each and every one of them and became obsessed. The early 80's started the microbrewery revolution and Jim enjoyed expanding his beer-horizons. [more]
