Seattle, WA – Ever since last September when Jane and George Hancock started the motions to migrate from the former auto garage to a larger location, we have been waiting. Since September, we have been waiting for Oyster Po Boys, for towers of Onion Rings, the Deep Fried Pickles, and more importantly, the beer.
It appears, the dust has settled, the inspections are done, and the date is finally set in Voicemail (call up their phone number and check for yourself), February 20th, 2010 from 4:00 to 10:00, Jolly Roger is back!
GRAND OPENING!!! We are proud to announce the grand re-opening of our Jolly Roger Taproom in our new location this coming Saturday, the 20th of February, starting at 4pm until 10pm. Beer specials and a new dinner menu plus all your old favorites will be available. Please come celebrate the new location and hoist a pint with us. YO-HO-HO!!! (We will resume regular hours starting Sunday 2/21) –source, Maritime Pacific Brewing’s website
With drink specials, along with an expanded larger tasting room, this is one event you don’t want to miss out on. Also, from our friend’s at Washington Beer Blog, it appears WABL members will get special entry time before the event officially kick’s off.
Maritime Pacific would also like to extend an invitation to current WABL members to attend a pre-opening event especially for them, starting at 3 PM on Saturday the 20th. A special cask-conditioned beer will be served along with tours of our new brewery. –source, Washington Beer Blog’s story on the pending Grand re-Opening

About Maritime Pacific Brewing Company
At Maritime Pacific, the emphasis is on using the highest quality ingredients and equipment to brew truly handcrafted beers. Our recipes take the traditional beer "styles" and enhance them to produce unique beers for the Northwest. In addition to Maritime Pacific's fleet of popular year-round favorites, we brew specialty beers for each of the changing seasons. This variety provides the beer enthusiast with an ever-changing choice of beverages to delight the eye, please the palate, and refresh the beer-drinking soul.
The Maritime Pacific "signature" is largely derived from the use of malted wheat in all the recipes. The wheat adds complexity, body, and a dry, nut-like quality to the traditional combination of yeast, malted barley, hops, and water. All of Maritime Pacific's brews are well balanced and flavorful, designed to be enjoyed by themselves or as accompaniment to your favorite foods. We at Maritime Pacific invite you to give our products a try, and we welcome your opinions. Help us to enhance the tradition of beer-making excellence in the great Pacific Northwest.
