(OR) Portlandbeer.org is raising money for Haiti

image of Deschute's Brewery's bottling line in the Old Mill District, courtesy of portlandbeer.org's Flickr page Portland, OR – During the last few weeks, the region has been filled with different forms of charity all in the name of exchanging a pint of beer for a pint of hope. Ok, so that last part could have been trite or laughable but why you are reading this is not.

Matt Wiater to most is another beer drinker in Portland’s amongst favorite bars. But to those of us that know of him, he is also a talented photographer with a distinctive eye.

Featured on his collaborative website Portlandbeer.org, you can find many of his inspired photos, shown next to something equally as descriptive.

Please go to the site listed below and support his dream of giving several less fortunate a chance to restart their lives.

“I'm working with Deschutes and auctioning off some signed (Gary Fish) Deschutes photos in hopes to raise some money for Red Cross Relief in Haiti.  The auction launched this morning and lives at: http://www.portlandbeer.org/auction/
