Bellingham, WA – Progress is being made in making “Cold Smoke” a reality. I just learned that those who wish to participate (ie, Barbecue) at the event will need a current Washington state food handler’s permit.
“I got some preliminary requirements from the Health Department about the Cold Smoke. If you are interested in BBQ'ing at the event, you will need to have a valid food handlers permit.“ – source, Green Frog Acoustic Cafe Newsletter
If you have 10 minutes to sit through a video presentation and fill-in a test, you are more than qualified for a food handler’s permit. As always details will continue to be published as more information comes in.
In the meantime why not head up there tomorrow for their next brewer’s night with guest Anderson Valley.
