(WA) Green Frog is promoting X-Mas w/Maritime Pac.

     The oft used phrase of “Christmas in July” has become synonymous with cold thoughts, cold desserts, and for many of us cold beers. Cold beers are usually associated with the re-visiting of beers that are commonly found in November and Decembers months when one needs something warm to soothe the cold away. Reliving those cold nights spent in conversation or warming next to loved one can be remembered with a nice winter warmer, winter ale, or a really good strong ale.

     The Green Frog Acoustic Cafe featured just up the street from Chuckanut Brewery is one of a kind. Featuring almost daily live music and one of the most claustrophobic keg refrigerators anywhere there is definite comfort within those four walls. As part of their weekly appreciation for craft beer they host almost like clockwork a brewer’s night. This Wednesday (today) they are hosting Maritime Pacific driving all the way from Ballard (Seattle) and the brewery isn’t traveling alone.

     Look to see familiar favorites such as the Island Pale Ale alongside some of other more winter friendly companions, and as a special bonus, Jolly Roger Strong Ale.
