"We have another Brewer's Night coming up next week and for this one we are going to do it a bit differently. It was scheduled as an Anacortes Brewery night, but Kevin of Anacortes suggested a competition. Now, how could we say no to a friendly competition? So this will be the first annual Lager-Off featuring three styles of lagers from Anacortes and Chuckanut Brewery. It's up to you to determine the winner. It seems as if we will have hot weather again, so the light, crisp, tasty lagers should hit the spot.
We will also have a cask of the Anacortes IPA for those of you who are not into the lagers. This will be a fun event. Each brewery will bring a Pilsner, Vienna Lager, and Helles Lager. We'll keep them unmarked and random. It will be up to you to decide which you like the most and we'll vote at the end. If it works out like I think it can then we'll start doing them with more breweries with other styles. I've been having a great time in the beer community and this seems like a great way to foster it."
