Sitting in one of the many chairs throughout the city of Seattle I am reflecting on Stage 10's finish with the sound of birds chirping and the temperature not quite classified as 'summer-ish'. I just got word regarding a couple of upcoming events on the calendar. The first one is tonight and although its not a member of the Northwest family, this is still an event not to be missed.

Brewer's on the bay Beerfest, Bellingham, WA
A fundraiser for Hospice House presented by Bellingham Bay Rotary, Brewers by the Bay is in it's 3rd year. Last year featured 27 brewers and more are expected this year. Held at the Depot Market Square in downtown Bellingham, the festival has both indoor and outdoor aspects.
There will be live music from three local bands, and there is food available for sale. Another nice feature is that the festival is directly across the street from Boundary Bay Brewery giving a great pre or post fest option.
Tickets are $25 and advance purchase is recommended. The fest site is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute cab ride from the local strip of motels.
