(Yakima, WA) As previously mentioned, Yakima Craft is slowly making their presence known one tap handle at a time. If you were in Seattle during Seattle Beer Week you no doubt would have tried their India Pale Ale that was featured alongside some of the local favorites. I got word from Jeff Winn the "President" and "Brewmaster" of YCBC that you should now be able to find their beers as close as Ellensburg (for you Seattleites out there).
"You will be able to find us at the Starlight Lounge in Ellensburg and at Outback Steakhouse in Union Gap. The Starlight will have IPA front-and-back, and the Outback will have Amber. Awesome." -source, YCBC newsletter
Additionally if you happen to live in the vicinity of Carmen's Comedy Club in Selah, Yakima Craft will be pouring their five beers on June 20th starting at 6:30 PM for approximately ninety minutes. Admission fee is mandatory but don't worry since the cost of admission includes your tastes of these five beers. General admission is $10 and besides the chance to taste five beers you receive entertainment courtesy of Dave Testroet.
"Born in Iowa, Testroet has an easy Mid-West delivery. With a quick laugh and a shift of an eyebrow soon you're in David's world." -source, Big and Funny.com
"From Comedy Clubs and Theatres across the United States and Canada to flying across seas for five different tours to entertain the U.S. Military." -source, Big and Funny.com
"A fast and funny show anyone can enjoy." -source, Big and Funny.com
"Material that twist from Darwin to Grizzly bears and sharp improvisation skills developed with over seventeen years of stage experience." -source, Big and Funny.com
"A well established harmonica player, David has incorporated this into his act. From rock and roll to his original songs like the Big Guy Blues." -source, Big and Funny.com
Also, if you are an early riser you can head over to Eagle Rock Resort in Naches for a noon grand opening of "The Woodshed" on June 20th. As a special treat one of the guys from YCBC will be pouring their new seasonal 1982 which premiered at Bert's Pub back on the 13th of June. Don't worry if amber isn't your thing since they will be offering four additional beers on draft during the party.
Finally don't forget if you want to try their beers in a more festival setting you can see them on tap at the Blues,Brews, and BBQ the June 27th or at Rails-to-Ales in Cle Elum July 11th. Good luck Jeff & Chris on your continued expansion into Washington both east and west.
