(Eugene, OR) Located in the college town of Eugene, Oakshire Brewing is a relative newcomer (less than two years) to the craft beer scene and offers another incentive to Oregonians and college students alike to sample some local brew. Recently as reinforcement to how popular the sentiment is for the brewery they (Oakshire) placed third overall in Best of Show voting during last weekend’s (June 26th) North American Organic Brewers Festival.
As of today on their blog they have received Federal approval to bottle and label their newest beer Overcast Espresso Stout. Although label approval doesn’t mean you should sprint to the nearest grocer, it does mean they are closer to bottle distribution. For more information on the Overcast Espresso Stout see below for label and specifications on this beer.

Gray skies are a regular part of life in Western Oregon. Overcast Espresso Stout is the dark and silky stout we crave while giving us the shot of organic espresso we need. –source, the Oakshire Brewery’s website
It’s worth noting that their draft beers have been available for over two years and in some places have been given permanent availability status (ie, Henry’s Tavern). Bottles will be available approximately mid July (the 17th) in Eugene with Portland receiving shipment shortly after in the Fall.
