(Yakima, WA) Once considered one of the many geographic destinations to experience the beginnings of the craft beer movement, Yakima has seen it share of great breweries. With the passing of the original Bert Grant’s Brewery the thought of being in the midst of so much hops without a brewery would be like walking in Walla Walla’s many vines without an oak barrel in sight.

Thankfully in 2008 that concern was answered in the form of the Yakima Craft Brewing Company and already they have garnered notoriety with an A+ for their India Pale Ale by the critics at Beer Advocate magazine. Fast forward to today and what you have is a consistently unapologetic, unfiltered, unpasteurized, brewery that continues to produce fine tasting ales produced from the same kettle that Bert Grant once used.

Need more proof of this you only need to make the trip to Yakima to take in the sights of the hops growing on the vine, while sipping a nice IPA, Amber, Scottish, or Pale Ale.

Still not enough? Here are some related events that might entice you further should you feel the need to experience YCBC from their brewery or a nearby draft line.

Cheers
