Seattle, WA - Chances are if you have driven on your way down Seattle's Fifth Avenue you have driven past the basement pub known as Elephant & Castle. This establishment has featured prominently outside its doors an iconic red phone booth (often seen in movies set in London) as a sort of beacon to all things British. Once a month the pub hosts a unique brewery either as a wonderful evening of cheap beers and free schwag or in the form of a food pairing from the pub's kitchen. I would invite you swing in and take a look around the place sometime not just on evening where a pint glass or shirt might be given away, but any other night when you have a craving for bangers and mash side by side with a pint of Guinness or Boddingtons.

Thursday May 21st at around 6:30 PM*(see below) the staff and management of Elephant & Castle as they have in the previous months will be hosting another "Brewer's Dinner" **(see below). This month's headliner is none other than the twenty five year old Portland institution known only to most as Widmer Brewing. Named after the two borther's last name the dinner is sure to be pleasing as they are brining with them their Halo IPA, signature Hefeweizen, Drifter Pale Ale, and Golden Belgian. If you are long time fan or are even a first timer to the Widmer Brothers come into the Elephant & Castle for a new experience as their beers are paired with the kitchen's imaginative menu.
