Press Release
It’s peak summer, everyone’s sun kissed from river trips & bike rides, the city explodes with life, it’s hot and all you want is a beer to beat the heat. This season in Portland is really an experience! July always brings Oregon Craft Beer Month, coinciding with the classic waterfront event, the Oregon Brewer’s Festival. It’s become a tradition for us here at Bailey’s Taproom to simultaneously celebrate our birthday the same weekend… we pull out the big guns, too! This year’s 11th Anniversary Party is no different!
The city granted us street access which allows us to connect Bailey’s Taproom to The Upper Lip for the day so patrons can roam freely between two stories of our Barrel-Aged Beer bonanza. We’ll also debut this year’s Anniversary Ale, a special blend from our good friends in Seattle, Reuben’s Brews! Their brewing team masterfully blended a Red Wine Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Belgian Strong Dark on cherries for a luscious beverage that’s sure to please.
Access to all 28 Barrel-Aged beers is free, 21+, and goes from Noon – 11pm on Saturday, July 28th. Don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of thirst-quenching beers on, too!
Thank you all for 11 years of beers, good times, & cheers! See you there.
