Come test your knowledge of local IPAs!

We (and our customers) curated a flight of 12 top Oregon IPAs. We have a blind test in both Hawthorne Hophouse and 15th Avenue Hophouse, where you can come in and try to identify each beer and match to a list. Get six or more right and win prizes, like hoodies, shirts, growlers, gift cards, etc.

You'll take the Challenge in the pub, get your results instantly, and either hide in shame or have bragging rights for years to come. New this year is the ability to take the test in the pub online ... no waiting around until February. You'll know instantly.

And you'll pick your favorite of the twelve (blind) and that beer will be our only permanent tap at both Hophouse pubs for the entirety of 2018. Past winners include Boneyard's RPM, Fort George Vortex, Barley Brown's Pallet Jack and Breakside's Flagship IPA. 

Besides the four breweries listed above, other participants include Level Beer, Ruse Brewing, Old Town Brewing, Pfriem Brewing, Flat Tail Brewing, Migration Brewing, Block 15 Brewing, and Culmination Brewery.

The other item of note is we switched out Breakside's flagship (which won the last two years in a row) for their other great IPA, Wanderlust.

This is our seventh annual Challenge, and goes on the entire month of January 2018.
Entry cost is $12. If you score badly and want to try it again, the second (and third etc.) tests are $10 each.
